Review: I’ve been a patient at this medical health clinic for years. During non-pandemic times, the level of patient care was top-notch. During this covid pandemic businesses especially anything health related need to step up to the challenge to protect its customers/patients providing enhanced safety and sanitizing protocols.Earlier this week I went to Soboba medical clinic. When I entered all staff were wearing masks. I was wearing a mask, too. As I stood at the check in counter I saw a man who was coughing as he approached the door. He walked in, unmasked, and stood directly in back of me. I could see the staff weren’t going to address the issue so I asked if he’d put on a mask and he said no, I’m not going to do that. I asked him to at least step back. He stepped back to being within 4 feet of me. Maria took him into the first exam room. As I was taken into the second exam room I asked if the rooms were cleaned between patients I was assured the rooms were cleaned and sanitized after each patient. The man finished first and when I saw him leave I went to the lobby counter. The counter, or the pen, were wiped down after him. I asked why the staff didn’t reinforce the mask issue. Their reply was no one told them they needed to. While we were having this conversation another patient walked in and they immediately told her to go in the first exam room – the room which had moments before occupied the coughing man. I was appalled as that room wasn’t cleaned, wiped down or sanitized in any way. I immediately spoke up and my concerns were ignored. I asked to speak with Dr J. and was told he rarely comes in. I asked for a phone call as I’d prefer to address this with him or a Supervisor rather than to leave negative feedback on social media. No call so obviously the safety of their patients is not a priority. Even without a pandemic that room should have been cleaned between patients. Disgusting. I won’t be returning,
